Day-by-day
Day 1
Arusha – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive from Arusha to the Serengeti via Ngorongoro, stopping at scenic viewpoints for photo opportunities. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the way followed by an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti. Driving distance approx. 382 km (6 hours). Accommodation: Serengeti Sametu Camp or Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge. Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Day 2
Central Serengeti
A full day of game drives across the wildlife-rich central Serengeti. Explore the Seronera Valley, home to resident lions, leopards and cheetahs, with a picnic lunch in the wilderness or a hot lunch back at camp. Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Day 3
Northern Serengeti – Mara River
After breakfast, head to the Northern Serengeti for the spectacular Great Migration. Witness wildebeest crossing the Mara River and predators like crocodiles in action. Enjoy game drives in this scenic region of shrubland and riverine forests. Driving distance approx. 147 km (3 hours). Accommodation: Serengeti River Camp or Mara Mara Tented Lodge.
Day 4
Northern Serengeti – Mara River
A second full day along the Mara River, maximizing your chances of witnessing a dramatic river crossing. Morning and afternoon game drives with time to relax at camp in between. Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Day 5
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Early morning game drive in the Serengeti, then a picnic lunch en route as you travel to the Ngorongoro crater rim. Overnight near the crater for easy access the next day. Driving distance approx. 328 km (5 hours). Accommodation: Ngorongoro Lion's Paw Camp or Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire National Park
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, spotting the Big Five and many other species. Picnic lunch at the hippo pool, then continue to Tarangire for an overnight stay. Driving distance approx. 145 km (2 hours). Accommodation: Maramboi Tented Lodge or Honeyguide Tarangire Camp.
Day 7
Tarangire – Arusha
Full-day game drive in Tarangire, famous for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees. Explore diverse wildlife along the Tarangire River. After lunch, drive back to Arusha for drop-off. Driving distance approx. 109 km. Meals: breakfast & lunch.
